Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant Sheffield, S6 From £95 per day Start date: September 2026 Contract type: Long-term temporary Working hours: Monday– Friday, (term time only) 8.30- 3.30   Unique School Solutions is supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S6 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. The role
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based EYFS learning.
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils to support early development.
  • Encouraging communication, social interaction, and early literacy/numeracy skills.
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supporting pupils' personal, social, and emotional development.
  • Observing and feeding back on pupil progress where required.
Essential requirements for the role:
  • Previous/recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse in EYFS
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
  • Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
  • Confidence to lead small groups
