School Caretaker Sheffield £15 - £16 per hour Start date: ASAP Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement  Working hours: Monday – Friday, split shifts: 6am – 10am & 2pm-4pm   Unique School Solutions are supporting a primary school in Sheffield to appoint a school Caretaker. The role will involve being responsible for unlocking and locking up the school, carrying out weekly fire alarm tests and keeping on top of other Health & Safety tests such as Legionella water testing. You will also be responsible for carrying out any general maintenance tasks around school, including DIT, gardening and cleaning where required. The role is to start as soon as possible and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. One position is working across the school supporting students aged 11-16, and the other is working in a specialist unit helping students integrate back into mainstream classes. As well as supporting students; you will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, monitor and assess pupil development and progress and liaise with teachers, parents and carers.
