Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Primary Sheffield, S6 From £115 per day Start date: September 2026 Contract type: Long-term Working hours: Full-time Monday – Friday (term time only)   Unique School Solutions is supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S6 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role. This role would suit an ECT looking to gain further experience in the classroom or an experienced HLTA. The role
  • Leading whole classes with teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Utilising in school support staff whilst delivering lessons
  • Reporting progress and feedback to class teachers
  • Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times
Essential requirements for the role:
  • Minimum Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent)
  • Confidence to deliver and adapt pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 1 and Key Stages 2
  • Previous/recent experience working as a HLTA within a primary school
  • Strong curriculum knowledge
  • Flexibility to work across different classes
