Unique School Solutions is supporting a secondary school in the S10 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and talented SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

- Supporting SEND students to access curriculum content within a classroom environment
- Working on a 1:1 basis with students with SEND needs including Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and SEMH needs
- Supporting with the design and delivery of educational resources
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Encourage student confidence, independence, and participation
- Working as part of the SEND team
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times
- Previous/recent experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a school environment
- Experience working with students with a range of SEND needs
- The ability to work with small groups of students supporting learning
- The ability to work with students on a 1:1 basis supporting learning
- The support of an experienced team of specialist consultants as well as a dedicated consultant who will be your point of contact from start to finish
