- Utilising in school support staff whilst delivering lessons
- Reporting progress and feedback to class teachers
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times
- Minimum Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification (or equivalent)
- Confidence to deliver and adapt pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 1 and Key Stages 2
- Previous/recent experience working as a HLTA within a primary school
- Strong curriculum knowledge
- Flexibility to work across different classes
