HR Manager
Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in Sheffield, who are needing to appoint a HR manager from September 2026. Your role will be to lead, manage, and deliver a comprehensive and legally compliant HR service for the school. The post holder will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and payroll administration, ensuring strict adherence to safer recruitment guidelines and education employment law. The role is to start in September and will either be a permanent position or a temp to perm after a 12 week period.

Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous HR experience, preferably within a school
- Previous experience using HR information systems and school management software (e.g., SIMS, Arbor)
- Safer Recruitment and Onboarding experience including pre-employment checks, vetting and talent acquisition
- Employee Relations & Casework experience including policy advice, casework management and wellbeing
- Contracts, Payroll & Administration experience including contracts, payroll liaison and workforce census
- Performance & Development experience including appraisals and training
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 minimum) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above
