Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)  Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in Sheffield, who are needing to appoint HLTA's for some new sites that are opening in September. Your role will include either working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher, or leading classes yourself using pre-planned schemes of work, all whilst supporting students across Key Stages 2,3 and 4. The role is to start in September and will either be a permanent position or a temp to perm after a 12 week period. About the school: - Large school with numerous satellite sites - Diverse community which the school serves - Ofsted rated "Good" school - Supportive and well organised leadership team Essential requirements for the role: - HLTA qualification - Previous experience working within a school for at least 3 months in the last 2 years - The ability to build rapport with learners from a diverse background and with a range of needs - The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative - Experience with Phonics is advantageous.
