Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement 

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 3:20pm, term time only

Unique School Solutions are supporting a SEND school in Doncaster, who are needing a specialist Teaching Assistant to work in their upper school ASAP. The role involves working with small groups of students with a range of needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Communication Difficulties, Autism (ASD) and Additional/Complex Needs. Working alongside the class teacher and a number of other TA’s, you will provide both academic and life learning support to students, as well as provide feedback on progress. You may be required to support with personal care. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• Personal care support
• The ability to build rapport with young learners
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
