£100 per day

Start date: September 2026

Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement 

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Unique School Solutions are supporting a lovely community primary school in the S25 area of Sheffield, who are needing a SEND Teaching Assistant. The role will be working with children with Special Educational Needs in the schools SEND resource and within the classroom, under the direction of the teachers. The role is to start ASAP in September 2026 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous experience working within a school or similar setting
• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
• Phonics experience beneficial
• The ability to build rapport with young learners
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
