Working hours: 3 days a week (flexible), term time only, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Unique School Solutions are supporting a lovely community primary school in the S25 area of Sheffield, who are needing a part-time 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant. The role will be working 1:1 with a student with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) in the schools SEND resource and within the classroom, under the direction of the teachers. It’s a part-time role for 3 days a week (school are flexible on the days). The role is to start ASAP in September 2026 on an ongoing basis.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous experience working within a school or similar setting
• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs – specifically ASD and/or PDA
• Phonics experience beneficial
• The ability to build rapport with young learners
• The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
