Contract type: Temp – perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement 

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 08:00 – 16:00

Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in Sheffield, who are needing a maths teacher. You will be planning, delivering and marking bespoke schemes of work to vulnerable and disengaged students across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4, as well as fulfilling all other teaching duties such as parents evenings. The role is to start ASAP and for the right person will lead to a permanent position.

Essential requirements for the role:

• PGCE in Secondary Maths
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience working within a school for at least 3 months in the last 2 years
• The ability to build rapport with learners from a diverse background and with a range of needs
• Strong behaviour management skills – This is a challenging setting!
• A calm, resilient and empathetic nature
