Unique School Solutions is supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S6 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

The role
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based EYFS learning.
- Working with small groups and individual pupils to support early development.
- Encouraging communication, social interaction, and early literacy/numeracy skills.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development.
- Observing and feeding back on pupil progress where required.
Essential requirements for the role:
- Previous/recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse in EYFS
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
- Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
- Confidence to lead small groups
