Unique School Solutions is supporting a secondary school in the S35 area of Sheffield to appoint an inspirational Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role which would be perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, sports coaches, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to build a career in education.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged, on task, and working in a positive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour, provide support where required, and report back to teaching staff at the end of each lesson

Essential requirements for the role:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
• Are confident leading classes and managing behaviour
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Are adaptable, proactive, and able to think on their feet
• Are flexible to move from class to class
• Hold a degree or relevant experience
