Behavioural specialist Teaching Assistant
Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in the S2 area of Sheffield, who are needing a Teaching Assistant to work supporting vulnerable and at risk students, and students with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. The role will be working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher supporting students with behaviour, curriculum and developmental targets across Key Stages 2-4.
The role may require the applicant to work across various site hubs in Sheffield so access to a vehicle would be advantageous.

Essential requirements for the role:
– Previous experience working within a school or children’s residential environment
– SEND experience
– The ability to build rapport with young learners
– Strong behaviour management skills
– The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
– The ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis
