Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Unique School Solutions are supporting a large secondary school in the S35 area of Sheffield, who are needing a music teacher to start asap, on a long-term, ongoing basis. You will be planning, delivering and marking schemes of work across Key Stages 3 & 4, as well as fulfilling all other teaching duties such as monitoring pupil progress, liaising with parents/carers, teaching assistants and SLT, and attending school meetings and parents evenings. This is a long-term, ongoing position.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous teaching experience of at least three months in the last two years
• PGCE Music
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
• Up to date KS3 & KS4 curriculum knowledge
• Ability to lead and direct teaching assistants
