Unique School Solutions is currently supporting a small primary school in the S20 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis to start ASAP. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

The role

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based EYFS learning.
• Working with small groups and individual pupils to support early development.
• Encouraging communication, social interaction, and early literacy/numeracy skills.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development.
• Observing and feeding back on pupil progress where required.

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous/recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse in EYFS
• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
• Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
• Confidence to lead small groups
