Unique School Solutions is supporting a secondary school in the S10 area of Sheffield to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term ongoing role.

The role

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individuals and small groups of students to reinforce learning.
• Maintain a productive classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour.
• Assist with preparing learning resources and classroom activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage student confidence, independence, and participation.
• Support students pastorally, helping to promote their wellbeing and engagement in school life.
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and health and safety policies at all times

Essential requirements for the role:

• Previous/recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment
• A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
